Faith and Contentment
This year I have two words: faith and contentment. 2012 brought many trials and tribulations as well as some celebratory moments. Everything that happens to us shapes who we are. We can let them crush us or make us stronger. I want to have faith that my life will continue in a positive path. I also want to feel content with whatever life gives me. I always try to be positive, but sometimes life throws me a curve that I wasn't expecting. “The greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.” - Martha Washington.

I love your two words, faith and contentment. I hope 2013 is full of happy times. You are so good at making other people happy. Be good to yourself. Add one more word to make it a trinity: Joy!
ReplyDeleteMay your faith be strengthened this year and your spirit content. Thanks for slicing today.

I will put 'your' words on my possible list, Lola. What a great attitude going into our new year! I wish you much good for the year!
ReplyDeleteAs I read your post the feeling that flowed through your words was a sense of serinity.
ReplyDeleteFaith and contentment--two words that go together like peanut butter and chocolate. I think to be content in all things without faith would be impossible; just as true faith helps you to be content even when going through tough times.
ReplyDeleteGreat words! They are words we could all live by.
ReplyDeleteThese are great words! Faith is huge to me-leading me to think about what I believe in, value and embrace...
ReplyDeleteHappy Positive New Year!
